Tension Test
I marched past the paved path into the playground blacktop to test industrial tension. Anchored into the blue rubber ground was a massive yellow steel coil spring built to take heavy punishment. I don't bypass loaded hardware. I stepped onto the concrete footing, wrapped both arms around the thickest coil, and hauled back with my full weight. The spring groaned with a deep metallic creak, snapping back with fierce counter-torque trying to fling me off. I didn't give an inch. I locked my elbows, dug my boots hard against the mounting bolt, and held the bend steady until the recoil died down. High-tension load handled.
