A Matter of Posture

My joints unsealed with a quiet click. I sat reclined upon a small yellow chair, legs dangling over open space, a tall green foil bag resting immediately behind my back. Procedural check: fingers moved upon command, followed by the left knee. Finding my center of balance slightly displaced, I placed both palms flat against the yellow seat edges and pushed downward, shifting my posture upright by precisely two centimeters. The crinkled foil behind me made a slight rustle as my shoulder grazed it, confirming spatial resistance. Stability achieved.
