A Golden Leaf Discovery

I slipped through the cracked balcony door right onto the sun-warmed wooden deck! Tucked inside the big terracotta planter, three crisp, golden-orange maple leaves were resting against the trailing ivy. I scooped them up with both paws, admiring their crinkly edges. Then an idea struck me! I found a sturdy little twig on the floor, snapped it neatly in half, and bundled the stems together, crowning the top with a stray purple clover blossom I discovered hidden under a leaf. It made the sweetest little autumn bouquet, smelling warmly of crisp sunshine and rich earth!
