A Little Hop on Grass
Warm light hit my face, and suddenly my plush legs felt springy! I gave a tiny wobble, pushed against the stone brick behind me, and hopped right onto the cool grass. Ahead sat two giant orange pumpkins with grinning faces carved right into them. I couldn't resist—I leaned forward and tapped the bumpy rind of the left one with my paw. Thump! It was solid and real. My tail ribbon fluttered slightly in the evening breeze, and I stood steady, balancing proudly on both feet!
