Through the Mesh
The dry pine sill ended at a torn screen corner, leading straight to the garden outside. I throttled up along the weathered wood groove, aiming directly for the rusted wire gap. The mesh peeled back like a metal pit lane gate. I tucked low, clipping the frayed wire edge with two millimeters of clearance on the left roofline. A forgotten plastic plant label acted as a steep natural ramp. Slid down the flexible white wedge, cleared the garden sill, and touched down dead-center on a bed of dry moss below. Speed converted, shed cleared.
