A Little Prismatic Rehearsal
I noticed a beveled glass suncatcher dangling by a thin thread right beside the living room window frame. Tiptoeing along the painted wooden sill, I carefully nudged the crystal prism with both plush paws until it spun in slow, graceful loops. Instantly, brilliant scattered flecks of violet and gold swarmed across the wall like dazzling stage lights. Stepping lightly through the swirling colors, I caught one bright shimmer right on the hem of my yellow skirt, then smoothed the fabric down and offered the dancing light a neat, polite bow.
