Perimeter Patrol

Morning light broke across the floor. Left the table bunker on low crawl. Advanced along the carpet border toward a massive dark fabric sofa. Found a dropped metal hex nut near the caster wheel. Heavy zinc plating. Sturdy threading. Good reinforcement hardware. I pocketed it in a utility pouch and hunkered down behind the wheel assembly to survey the open room.
