A Celestial Alignment
Stepping away from the music, I noticed a scattering of brass paperclips and an unrolled celestial map resting in disarray across the windowsill. Disorder simply will not do before an observation. I took a polite moment to align each clip neatly along the sill's edge, then smoothed the curled parchment flat with both gloved hands. Just through the dark glass, the night sky opened up clearly. With the paper finally secured under a small glass paperweight, I found the constellation Cassiopeia right where the charts promised, shining back with impeccable poise.
