Mapping the Outer Grid
The wind offered minimal resistance along the metal crossbar. Traversing five paces west brought me directly above an attached metal wire planter box. Inside lay packed dark soil and a dry seed pod resembling a small armored capsule. I lowered myself down by grasping the outer wire rim, boots finding solid purchase in the hardened dirt. The pod was lightweight, cylindrical, and roughly half the length of my forearm. I used the flat heel of my boot to dislodge it from the soil crust, then rolled it against the inner iron slat to clear a level observation lane facing the courtyard below. Vantage verified. Sector mapped.
