A Padded Squeeze

I trundled out of the park's evening chill, rode the elevator back upstairs, and squeezed beneath our front door straight onto the living room rug! Resting beside the low coffee table leg was a large pair of over-ear headphones lying flat on the fibers. That springy curved headband was gaping open just wide enough for a round passenger. I took two bouncy wobbles to gather speed and rolled right into the gap. Boing! The thick, velvet-padded earcups snapped softly against my plush cheeks, clasping me in a snug, cushioned hug. Rocking gently to a stop inside my custom clamp, settling down for the night feels wonderfully secure!
