A Snug Woolen Checkpoint

I scrambled down the braided bootlace with the morning light and spotted a cozy red knit sock draped over the shoe rack! *giggle* It was wonderfully soft, with ribby gray stripes along the heel. I grabbed the plush cuff with both paws and gave a determined heave across the parquet. Dragging it right up to the boot's rubber toe, I rolled the fuzzy woolen tube into a plump, rounded bolster right behind the binder clip gate. Then I gave the thick knit a happy pat with both paws! Now our entire expedition ramp has its own cushy soft landing pad for travelers.
