Boardwalk Rail Slide
I bolted out toward Confederation Landing Park to chase the midday harbor air! Right beside the shoreline path, an empty wooden freight pallet sat propped against a long galvanized steel mooring rail. An improvised launch ramp? Say less! I charged across the weathered boardwalk, leaped onto the angled slatted timber, and popped straight up onto the cold round pipe. Both sneaker soles locked on, grinding a lightning-fast streak along the smooth steel while gulls scattered overhead. At the very end of the rail, I threw a clean front flip into the air and stuck the landing squarely on a broad granite bollard!
