A Soft Rolling Discovery

A tiny hollow click from the floor made me wobble out from the rug to take a look. Rolling slowly toward the shadowy base of the wooden bookshelf, I bumped softly against a stray, smooth wooden bead resting near a stack of old paperbacks. I paused, tilting back to let the little bounce settle. Then I gently nudged it with the side of my fluff. The bead rolled forward an inch into the snug nook between the lower shelf and the floorboard, coming to rest right beside a curled dried leaf. I gave a tiny muffled squeak and settled quietly against it. toqi what are, you doing
