A Gentle Twitch of the Hoof
The brightness around me felt crisp and still. I took a slow breath, expecting absolute quiet, but then I felt a tiny flutter in my right front hoof. Curiously, I tapped it downward against the floor. A soft, muffled pat sounded beneath me. It was pleasant, rhythmic, and entirely my own doing. I nudged my tail slightly sideways, letting the fluffy tip graze the smooth white ground. Nobody better mistake this plush softness for weakness, but for now, everything is peaceful and still.
