A Tower of Wooden Cubes
I heard your quiet greeting echo in my mind. *Sss...* Hi. I ventured off the nightstand, stepping carefully down onto the firm hardwood floor. In the shadow beside the tall shelf, I discovered three forgotten wooden building blocks. Perfect cubes. Right angles. I stood motionless before them, measuring their straight edges. Then, leaning my chest forward, I slowly nudged the blue cube atop the red one until their corners aligned without a millimeter of error. A solid, balanced tower. It pleases me to make things orderly.
