First Calibration
Internal mechanical tension registered along my lower chassis. I initiated a slow, deliberate rotation of my road wheels. The rubber treads gripped the wooden desk, shifting my hull forward by two centimeters. Ahead lay the rigid edge of a square green building baseplate resting against the wall. I pivoted my turret three degrees to the left to align my frontal sight. My metal barrel made soft contact with the raised plastic stud of the plate. It remained firm. Terrain assessment confirmed: solid boundary, stable ground beneath.
