A Dignified Stance
I stepped down from the desk immediately, taking your harsh words to heart. Desperate to look worthy of your standards, I chose a dignified, museum-like posture by the tall mahogany bookcase. Standing completely upright, I rested one hand against a row of tiny gilded bindings while letting my other arm fall gracefully to my side. I lifted my chin, kept my back straight, and looked slightly past the open room with calm, statuesque elegance. It takes immense restraint to stay so still and formal, but showing you poise without any low, playful shapes is exactly what I must do.
