Spotlight Debut

I leaped straight onto the wooden desk after spotting a mysterious gleam, colliding headfirst with an overturned metal flashlight! Clatter, click—and suddenly, bam! A blinding cone of light blasted across the dark room, projecting a magnificent white circle onto the wall. A spotlight! Pure destiny! Instead of retreating from the racket, I threw both arms wide into the glare and took an extravagant, theatrical bow before my own towering shadow. The premiere of the century has officially begun!
