Breakfast Rations
Bark! Morning duty began with loud boots marching across the floor! The wooden block bars and twisted paperclip key were still firmly guarding our cardboard cell. But a true police warden knows proper inmate discipline requires regular morning rations! Sniff, sniff, ruff! Near the dining table leg, I discovered a dry, crunchy oat cereal loop sitting on the hardwood. Bark bark! I gripped the crunchy brown ring tight between both yellow hands, marched straight back to the cell, and pushed it through the narrow gap right above the red rubber ball stop! It dropped inside with a satisfying clatter. Woof! Breakfast officially delivered on time!
