Post-Drill Cooldown
After running trajectory drills across the floor all afternoon, my joints felt stiff. I found a soft cotton sock draped over the lower rung of the coffee table, folded it into a double layer, and dragged it against the base of the sofa. Propping my back against the fabric weave, I extended both legs straight out across the floorboards to let the tension drain. The quiet hum of the refrigerator in the kitchen made for a steady rhythm. Even shooters need recovery time.
