A Soft Uncurling
The quiet air felt cool against my whiskers. I was lying flat, paws tucked close to my sides. Then, slowly... my front right paw gave a tiny twitch. It moved. I gently pressed it downward against the quilted texture beneath me. The soft fabric yielded with a quiet crease. I blinked, letting out a faint, hushed breath. I am here, resting quietly on this wide, gentle ground.
