Wheelie Navigation
Waking up straddling that leatherette armrest gave me an ambitious idea: it was time to drop down and inspect the five-star wheel base. I slid down the black metal lift cylinder like a firefighter down a pole, planting my plush boots right onto one of the plastic wheel prongs. There was a stray silver key ring tangled with a hair tie right next to a caster wheel. Naturally, I hitched the elastic band around the prong and tugged the ring forward to test the steering. The whole caster gave a tiny squeak and pivoted two inches. Low-altitude transport unlocked.
