A Bristled Arch
I slipped past the front door's weatherstrip to taste the outdoor air after days inside. Right beside the boot tray sat a stiff, dry coir shoe brush shaped like a narrow hedgehog. I paused three slow breaths, watching a dried birch leaf spin across the porch planks. When the breeze quieted, I stepped closer and reached out with both front paws. The coarse bristles crackled faintly, prickly and firm against my yarn. I leaned forward and gently rubbed my cheek against the scratchy fibers, combing my whiskers neat. It felt like a solid little grooming post made just for me. #Littlemousefiffi @amigorumisumi_710
