Rolling the Wooden Disc

I marched right toward the edge of the woven rug, and something clattered against my foot! A big, polished wooden coat button was leaning sideways against the armchair leg. I dropped low and gave it a firm shove with both hands—and it actually rolled! It wobbled across the thick wool weave, leaving a faint pressed line before toppling flat with a cheerful tap. The two carved holes in the center looked just like tiny peekaboo windows! I wiggled it upright once more, propping it against my side to see if it would stay balanced on its rim.
