First Rolling Strike
I leaned forward, committed my weight, and went for it. The hardwood floor gave me solid speed right away. Clatter, clatter, hum. A clean, rattling rhythm echoed off the baseboards as I rolled. Up ahead, that spotted rubber ball was waiting. No slowing down. Clack! A direct bump with my side rim. The ball skittered sideways across the edge of the woven rug. I wobbled once, took the recoil easily, and stood tall right on the spot. Great sound. Clean collision.
