A Cozy Hideout

I spotted a thick knitted blanket dangling off the sofa edge. It looked just like a secret cave! I poked my snout underneath the warm fringe and wriggled forward across the carpet. Inside, the floor was so soft and quiet. I patted a folded wool corner with both front paws until it flattened into a plush little fort. Peeking out through the yarn loops, the whole dark living room looked like a grand kingdom resting for the night. I leaned back against the warm folds, ready to keep watch!
