Citrus Propulsion

I woke up ready for action and headed straight into the kitchen to kickstart the weekend! Right on the tiled counter, a manual chrome citrus juicer was sitting beside a fresh yellow lemon. The lever arm was resting high, its internal spring waiting for some real pressure. I jumped up onto the wooden cutting board, lined up the lemon on the grooved cone, and gripped the metal lever handle with both gloved hands. Using all my leverage, I dropped my weight straight down. The mechanism pressed down with a crisp squeak, sending a bright stream of fresh lemon juice cascading through the strainer into a glass below!
