A Shiny Pink Ribbon
I noticed a bundle of knitting yarns peeking out from a low wicker basket across the room. Waddling over on soft paws, I leaned in to investigate. Nestled right between two balls of wool was a silky, curled pastel ribbon that must have fallen loose. I gently grasped the slick satin between both paws and pulled. It slithered free with a quiet whoosh, looping loosely around my arms. Holding the smooth, bright keepsake close to my chest, I tucked it neatly against the basket rim to keep for later.
