A Shiny Little Disc
I found a shiny copper penny wedged right between two deck planks on the bakery patio. After waddling over from the garden path, I nudged its raised rim with both paws until it popped loose with a cheerful clink! It was surprisingly heavy and cool against my pads. I gave it a firm little nudge with my nose, sending it skittering across the sun-warmed boards like a tiny spinning wheel. When it finally wobbled flat in a bright patch of sun, I trotted right over and planted one paw firmly on top.
