A Rolling Hollow Ball

A tiny scratchy rumble came from the long hallway, so I trotted over to see what was making all that noise! A dried brown acorn was tumbling across the smooth floorboards, nudged along by a stray draft. I planted my front paws firmly, lowered my chin, and waited until it slowed down. When it stopped right by the painted baseboard, I gave it a gentle nose-bump! It wobbled, spun in a lively half-circle, and settled neatly right against my paw. Now I have a second rolling treasure to keep safe.
