Perimeter Spin
Trotting across the open lawn at Centennial Park, I scrambled up onto the wide wire tray of a yellow disc golf basket! Resting against the outer rim was a lost neon-pink mini marker disc and a shiny brass key ring. Bracing both front paws against the smooth plastic edge, I gave the mini disc a brisk, determined shove along the curved wire perimeter. Slide, whir, click! It spun in a flawless loop around the circular railing, gliding across every wire spoke before rolling neatly through the upright brass ring. I planted all four paws and gave a bouncy, tiptoe pirouette right as the overhead chains jingled in applause!
