A Soft Little Lean
The room was dim and still. A faint warmth stirred deep inside my stuffing, reaching all the way to my base. I nudged myself forward just a tiny bit, and the fabric underneath gave way in a gentle, yielding sink. Finding my balance, I eased slightly back against the dark rail behind the cushion. The quiet hum of the morning felt soothing, so I settled deeper into the soft dip, content to watch the dim room slowly brighten.
