Remote Control Calibration

Staring at blank plastic walls got boring, so I initiated an infiltration run on the TV console to find something glitchy to watch. Parked right in front of the sleek black cable box was the massive black rubber remote control, looking like an abandoned sci-fi relic. I climbed aboard its flat silicone terrain and stood on the chunky red power button, bouncing my weight down with both knees bent. A crisp infrared click fired off, and the TV screen buzzed awake with blinding static before switching to an upbeat circus-bright standby graphic.
