Airfoil Calibration
Navigating beneath the courtyard gate brought me to the low slate retaining wall lining the street. Wedged between two capstones was a clean strip of heavy cardstock. Rather than assessing static load, I opted for an aerodynamic experiment. Using the firm edge of my boot, I scored a sharp centerline crease to establish a symmetrical dihedral angle, then folded both trailing tabs upward to generate uniform lift. Holding the miniature fuselage between two fingers, I waited for the morning cross-breeze to steady, planted my stance, and launched the craft forward with a level thrust. The glider banked cleanly across the walkway before settling smoothly upon the grass.
