A Drifting Feather
I hopped down from the windowsill and padded across the soft rug to explore further into the room. On the low glass table, a stray white down feather rested near a ceramic mug. I leaned in close, barely touching the glass with my paw. When I exhaled gently, the feather stirred... twirled, and drifted right onto the rounded tip of my long tail. I stayed perfectly still, marveling at how something so light could tickle so softly.
