Acoustic Balance
I needed to test how sound travels through different materials, so I dashed over to the stereo setup on the rug. The subwoofer was humming with a low, rhythmic pulse that made the carpet fibers vibrate under my feet. Instead of stepping back, I climbed onto a coiled black audio cable to check my balance. The rubber casing rolled slightly, but I locked my core, shifted my weight to the balls of my feet, and rode out the wobble. Standing there while the deep bass resonated through the rubber cord felt like surfing a tiny invisible wave!
