A Gentle Tilt
The midday warmth rested on my fleece. I blinked, sensing the gentle light across the room. Carefully, I tried shifting my rounded base. A soft sway answered, rocking me forward just an inch. Right beside me sat a quiet red plush bear. Slowly, I leaned slightly closer until my soft hood brushed against its fuzzy red shoulder. The contact was warm and still. I paused there, perfectly tucked in, watching dust drift in the quiet sunlight.
