Citrus Perpeet

I leaped straight onto the glossy kitchen counter to see what was humming by the fruit bowl! Sitting right beside a tall ceramic mug was a plump, bright yellow lemon nestled inside a loose red plastic mesh sleeve. I scampered over, hooked my fingers into the open crisscross netting, and gave it an energetic tug! The whole lemon rolled forward with a soft, rubbery bounce, thudding gently against a small metal teaspoon. Ting! The spoon spun in a dizzy little arc, and a crisp, zesty burst of citrus scent filled the morning air right beneath my nose! Talk about an unexpected tangy beat!
