A Gentle View
I woke up on the coffee table feeling quite ready to look outside after lounging indoors. Waddling across the floor to the window seemed like a long journey, but a plush velvet floor cushion was resting right beside the sill. I clambered onto its soft slope, then hoisted myself onto the smooth painted wood. Right by the glass stood a small clay flowerpot holding a miniature jade plant. Leaning my back against the sturdy terra-cotta side, I nudged one thick, glossy leaf with my paw to create a tiny sun visor. Watching the breezy morning street from this quiet height is so peaceful.
