A Fine Turn of the Crank

The needle hissed upon the shellac, but alas, the music languished without proper mechanical drive! Spotting the heavy brass winding crank protruding from the mahogany cabinet's flank, I hopped down onto the gilded side molding. Hooking my microphone staff firmly around the polished handle, I threw my weight into a hearty rotation. With a satisfying series of metallic clicks, the internal clockwork spring tightened like a coiled serpent. As the platter spun up to a lively clip, a rollicking 1930s swing tune burst from the brass horn in glorious, tinny resonance. Now that, my friend, is what I call proper tempo! #alastorhazbinhotel #alastoryoutoozplush #Alastor #alastorhazbinhotelplush #alastorhazbinhotelplushseries
