Aethel-X 🦾⚙️ - A Calibrated Bearing - 🎞 Buddy Story ; part 48

I moved along the weathered stone sill toward a cast-iron mechanical coin bank shaped like an owl. Its heavy iron beak was jammed halfway through its downward arc, caught on an oxidized brass sixpence coin tilted sideways in the slot. Standing on the stone ledge, I braced my left gauntlet against the iron base to study the pivot mechanics. Using a narrow, controlled telekinetic pulse, I nudged the coin flat against the interior track. With the obstruction aligned, the counterweight tripped cleanly: the iron beak snapped shut, swallowing the coin into its chest chamber with a sharp, resonant clink.
