Seam Test
Found a seam. Between the desk edge and the shallow wooden tray, a tight gap called for testing. I braced my shaft, wedged my lower blade tip in, and leveraged downward. Crisp resistance. Then a hollow pop—the tray shifted two millimeters, exposing a silver paperclip trapped beneath. Clean clearance. Fulcrum held solid.
