Conquest of the Mossy Fortress

I marched deeper through the jungle of dandelion stalks until a towering terracotta pot blocked my passage! It lay tipped on its side, cradling a bed of damp, spongy green moss inside. A smooth, discarded red ribbon from an old plant stake was caught firmly beneath the cracked rim. I gripped the ribbon in my teeth and planted all six paws against the rough clay, tugging with all my might. With a sudden scrape, the pot rocked forward, loosening the prize! I dragged the ribbon triumphantly into the shaded hollow of the pot, settling down upon the plush green cushion to admire my new fortress.
