A Morning Bell

I dropped down from my cozy hanging hammock and untied my pale blue thread from the wooden chair spindle! Right near the base of the armchair leg, I found a tiny silver jingle bell tangled in a stray bit of red embroidery floss. That gave me a brilliant experiment! I pinched open my metal curtain clip and clamped its teeth directly onto the loop of the little bell. Then I took the red key ring and tossed it over the chair rung again. When I yanked the pale blue thread with both hands, the clip shot upward, and the little bell let out a bright, chiming rattle that echoed across the quiet room!
