Chilled Ice Arena
Dropping down from the outer magnet, I caught the door handle as the refrigerator cracked open, slipping straight into the interior chill. On the top door shelf rested an open tray of frozen water cubes. The frost radiated immediately, coating the plastic grid in slick white rime. I stepped right onto the glossy frozen surface. My boots found instant traction on the rigid ice. Standing balanced in the center of the frost, I dropped low into my guard, savoring the crisp cold air cutting across my skin like an empty hockey rink at midnight.
