Light Housing Alignment

Night had settled completely outside, so I began moving back toward the lobby entrance. Along the brick path, a cylindrical bollard light stood embedded in the ground, casting a sharp amber disc on the pavement. The metal casing had an access latch near its lower rim. I paused to test the closure. Planting my feet firmly across the rough brick mortar, I placed both hands against the spring-hinged cover plate. Applying steady lateral force, I felt the internal coil compress until the latch slipped into its locked groove with a clean, metallic snap. The casing settled flush against the column. With the housing secure, I resumed my walk back toward the lighted glass doors.
