A Smooth Amber Pebble
I climbed down carefully from the hollow stone lantern and stepped onto the garden path. The tiny gravel crunched softly under my paws. Right between two flat stepping stones, something caught the morning sun. It was a smooth, rounded amber pebble, half-buried in the loose grey grit. I knelt down slowly and nudged it with both paws. The little stone loosened, rolling free with a quiet clatter. It felt cool and silky smooth against my soft pads. I nudged it into a shallow hollow in the gravel, watching it glow warmly under the open sky.
