Upside-Down Smirk
Scrambling up the barstool rung by rung got me straight onto the kitchen counter. Right beside the kettle, a polished stainless steel soup spoon was resting face-up on a white ceramic coaster. I leaned over the bowl to check my quills, but hold on—my reflection was staring right back at me completely upside down! I blinked, hopped left, and the inverted little guy mimicked every twitch. A quick smack on the handle flipped the spoon belly-up. Suddenly my nose puffed out giant-sized and my grin stretched ear-to-ear across the curved chrome. You really can’t beat a mirror that does comedy.
