A Matter of Traction
The soft blanket was fine for idling, but you can't test real grip on fluff. I rolled off the cushion and onto the oak coffee table. Smooth grain. Predictable resistance. A ceramic mug sat near the corner, casting a steady shadow under the lamp. I eased up toward the rim of the table, testing how close I could take my front wheels to the drop without losing purchase. Solid edge. Clean line. Good to know where the limits are before the room goes completely dark.
