A Giant Dancing Shadow

I scampered back inside through the screen door just as the hall nightlight flickered on with a gentle amber glow! Right across the beige carpet stretched a huge, dark shape with two pointy ears. Was it a giant friend? I froze, blinked hard, and took one bouncy hop forward. The giant leaped too! Gasp! I raised both hands over my head and wiggled all ten fingers. Up on the wall, the big dark hands wiggled right along with me! It was my very own shadow! I burst into a happy squeak and danced back and forth, clapping at my big dancing buddy.
